Ocean Crusaders and Phil Robertson Racing announce collaboration

Ocean Crusaders and Phil Robertson Racing are proud to announce a long-term collaboration, with the objective of bringing increased awareness to the importance of ocean and waterway health, clean-ups and prevention through the implementation of education and technology.

Ocean Crusaders, a non-profit organisation run by accomplished sailors Ian and Annika Thomson are powered by a team of volunteers and like minded organisations who have run clean-up efforts and awareness programs in Australia, Sweden and everywhere in between.

Director Annika Thomson states “The oceans are our playground, yet provide 60% of the world's oxygen. We must protect it. Joining forces with Phil Robertson Racing is exciting as it allows us another avenue to promote clean ups and ocean health to a broader community. We look forward to some amazing activations in the future.”

Phil Robertson, driver for Canada SailGP Team and team member of Alinghi Red Bull Racing (America’s Cup) says “I am delighted to partner with such an outstanding organisation like Ocean Crusaders. They have set the benchmark for how to mobilise and execute important beach clean-ups and educate all involved on how they can have a positive impact on their environments.”

Ocean Crusaders and Phil Robertson Racing will soon be embarking on some shared initiatives and challenges for 2024, including how you can assist and get involved.
