Phil Robertson
Phil is an internationally renowned helmsman and skipper of some of the world’s leading racing yachts. He is a regular competitor on the World Match Racing Tour and Extreme Sailing Series, having competed internationally since the age of 15.

Phil led a world-class match racing team called WAKA Racing from 2009 - 2016. He created the team at the age of 21 and steadily climbed the world of Match Racing, before winning the 2016 World Match Racing Tour Championships in the new format, M32 catamarans.

Phil skippered Gazprom Team Russia on the Extreme Sailing Series in 2014 and 2015, and for one event in 2016.

He was the skipper of China Team during the 2012 America’s Cup World Series.

Phil has also competed in many of the world’s most iconic and challenging ocean races and he has his sights set on one day competing in an elite circumnavigation event.

He is a sportsman at heart with a love and passion for the ocean and sailing.

His recent non-sailing endeavours include running and triathlons, and in 2015 he completed an Ironman in a time of 10hrs and 4mins. He plans to race in more Ironman triathlons along with other multi-sport events.

James Wierzbowski
At only 24 years of age, James has already achieved a number of career ambitions. He ran an Olympic campaign for three years sailing a Nacra 17 and 49er. Since 2014, he has been racing on the Extreme Sailing Series, the unofficial feeder to the America’s Cup. In 2016, he joined the World Match Racing Tour for the first time, winning the competition as part of the Phil Robertson Racing team (formerly known as WAKA Racing). James is also a versatile athlete, taking part in CrossFit, Snowboarding and Stand Up Paddleboarding.

Stewart Dodson
At just 23, Stewart has had a glittering start to his career. He is a graduate of the RNZYS Youth Training Programme and has taken part in four Extreme Sailing Series. He came third in the 2015 event, second in the Red Bull Youth America's Cup, and was part of the winning 2016 World Match Racing Tour Champion team. Stewart is a five times National Champion of New Zealand. His interests outside of sailing include skiing and cars.

Will Tiller
Mainsheet Trimmer
Will grew up in a sailing family where he developed a passion for the sport which led into competing in all major dinghy classes. In 2006, he joined the RNZYS Youth Training Programme, graduating four years later with 11 international youth match racing regatta wins. Will created FMJRacing, skippering and managing the team over three years, reaching an Open ISAF match race ranking of fifth. Later, FMJRacing joined the Extreme Sailing Series while also competing in the inaugural Red Bull Youth America’s Cup in which they placed second.
